MyPDP

The MyPDP tab organizes content in the PDP according to your preferences (with login). It is also the area where you will manage your PDP profile and find other PDP members.

On the main MyPDP screen you will find the latest information about the PDP which may include announcements about upcoming conferences, most recently added resources, and other messages from Focus Area editors. If you are logged in to the PDP, you will see information relevant to the focus areas you selected in your PDP profile.

You can also search the PDP by using the Quick Search at the top of the screen. If you are logged in, the quick search searches your preferred focus areas by default. To expand your search to the entire PDP, select "all focus areas" under the search box.

My Profile
If you are logged in, the My Profile link will appear in the MyPDP submenu. You can change your password and edit your profile and PDP preferences in this section. Read descriptions of the fields in your profile.

If you are not logged in, the Profile link will lead you through the process of establishing a login and profile.

My Saved Searches
Within the MyPDP tab, you can access your saved searches. Saved searches offer a convenient way to quickly run a search on a topic you search for often. You must be logged in to save searches and access them. To save a search, click the save search link in the upper right of the search results screen.

On the My Saved Searches screen, you will find a list of searches you have saved organized by the titles and descriptions you provided when saving each search. You can run, edit, or delete your saved searches using the icons below.
Click this icon to execute a saved search.
Select the edit icon to make changes to your search and save them.
To delete a search from your list, select the trash icon.

Find PDP Members
Connect with colleagues using the Find PDP Members feature. PDP members who have established a profile and have elected to include it in the directory are listed here. You can browse other users' interests, biographies, and contact information in the directory.

You can browse all members alphabetically by last name (click the hyperlinked letters to navigate the alphabet). Alternatively, you can limit the list to certain groups. In the drop-down list group by, select focus area or organization. A filter-by drop-down will appear. Click the focus area or organization you would like to view. For example, you can find all PDP members who prefer the Libraries focus area by selecting "Focus Area" in the Group by list, then selecting "libraries" in the Filter by list. Now all the PDP members listed will be members who prefer the Libraries focus area.

To find PDP members with specific interests, you can search by keyword in the upper right.
